144 | 365 : Sass

The sass on my soon to be 5 year old is incredible. Here Sydney is, in the yard, dictating how her OLDER sister and younger brother should be acting. She had no idea I was taking this photo! Sidetone: she picked this dress out at H&M on her own, and I wish I had one in my size.

115 | 365 : Twinning

I've always loved Vans, and I was so happy to get myself a new pair, and a pair for Grayson as well. I'm still surprised at how small his feet are right now (6.5 toddler at age 3?). I am still in kids sizes at almost 32 (my birthday is May 16th), so I guessI shouldn't be surprised.

100 | 365 : Imagination

I love Sydney's imagination. Every day she changes into a different costume or outfit multiple times. Today we started as Anna from Frozen, was Sophia until lunch, and just was Sully from Monsters University for most of the afternoon. I hear her getting changed into "fancy" pajamas now. I never want her imagination daydreams to end. Side note: I made it to day 100 for Project 365. Woo hoo!!!

080 | 365 : Beanie

I want winter to end just as much as the next person (be gone sickness from my house!), but one thing I will miss is beanies. It was a stylish and easy way to cover up bad hair days for both myself and Grayson. His favorite beanie from H&M.

077 | 365 : Braids

Other than picking out her own outfits that will most likely be pink, Sydney's newest thing is having her hair done a different way every day for school. Even though she has no part in her hair, and its a bit messy, this is my favorite one. It reminds me that she's still a little girl, and not the older girl she acts like sometimes. It also reminds me that she needs a haircut.

Happy St Patrick's Day! I'm only Irish by marriage, but I love this holiday, because everything is my favorite color: green! It's this little green eyed leprechaun's too, so he was more than happy to wear his green Lolly Lu Designs bowtie to celebrate.

061 | 365 : Happy Mail

I love happy mail! Today we received a package from Lolly Lu Designs, who makes wonderful bow ties for little boys. They were so sweet to send Grayson all of these. I can't wait to have him model them. They remind me so much of spring, which we are all desperately looking forward to!

038 | 365 : Accessories

I may be a tomboy, but accessories are my THING. I have always loved them, and with Sydney being such a girly girl, this is where we connect. Her love is for purses and shoes, but mostly hair accessories. She doesn't mind her hair being messy, mind you, as long as the hair accessory works. Her favorite right now is a headband from Kardashian Kids.

037 | 365 : Give Me Comfort

It was inevitable really. Today I am sidelined and can not get out of bed. I get sick a lot, due to Thalassemia, a blood disorder I have. Any normal sickness that goes through my house gets aggravated to the max in me. I get sad, because I can't care for the kids like I want to. I know that mommy guilt shouldn't kick up, but it does. I guess its a lot of antibiotic, soup, catalog shopping, and a super cuddly teddy bear from Next (given to Grayson from my very best British friend Laura) to make me feel better. Grayson likes to share his comforts with his mommy when she feels bad.

036 | 365 : Cool Dude

Grayson is definitely on the mend finally! He is ready to go out, but I'm still holding off because he still has a pretty awful cough. Judging by him wanting to wear his sunglasses, I'm guessing that he is not only ready to play, he's ready for sun and summer already. Sunglasses by Babiators.

033 | 365 : Stylist

Now that January has come and gone, I have started picking up sessions again. I was excited to do this one because it was different: a stylist blog. My friend Rachel (shown here) is amazingly talented when it comes to fashion, so it only fits that she would start a styling business. I'm editing these now, and its definitely awakened the fashion bug in me!

029 | 365 : Twirlybird

My sweet Sydney. I think I've already mentioned it, but she is such a girly girl. She will only wear skirts and dresses lately, despite the weather. She loves just twirling around and "being pretty". I want to be just as carefree!

026 | 365 : What Inspires Me

All 4 of the kids inspire me, but my love of photography really started to kick off when Sydney was a baby. After Grayson was born, it was a full blown obsession. These two never catch a break, since the older two know how to disappear when my camera makes an appearance. They never seem to mind though.

022 | 365 : Moody

I am a bit moody today. Chalk it up to the crazy weather I guess! I went down to the boardwalk in my town to see if I could get some of my funk out with my camera. It was way too bright with the water on the boardwalk from the melted snow to see anything decent, but my little man was happy to let me snap his picture. I don't like posting back to back black and white images, but this looks too much like an ad...and my mood. 

021 | 365 : Waiting

Grayson loves to wait by the big front door for all different things, but today is a triple whammy. We are waiting not only for the recycling truck and for us to go to library time, but for an impending snow storm they say is going to hit!

020 | 365 : Hair Bow

I was a tomboy growing up. Even though I had dance lessons for 10 + years, I was also in competitive softball. I didn't wear makeup until I was 29. Cassie is just like me: tomboy to the max. Sydney on the other hand is as girly as they come, which throws me for a loop. She loves getting dressed up and picking her own clothes. The one thing I did pass down was a love of accessories. She is in love with "hair bows" right now, and can't have enough to match her outfits, as long as they don't hurt her head!

016 | 365 : Potty Time

We had started potty training before the holidays (when he turned 3), but once all of the gatherings got into full gear we weren't as dedicated as we once were. The price of pull ups has gone up, so we are really trying to tackle the potty and big boy underwear. Grayson isn't thrilled, but he'll get the hang of it. Fingers crossed!

014 | 365 : Toddler Time

On Wednesday mornings, our local library holds a toddler story hour, which I bring Sydney and Grayson to. I love it because its before Sydney's preschool time and its super friendly. Sydney loves it because they give snacks. She's eating a muffin here!

013 | 365 : Three

I realized something today. When Grayson turned 3 at the end of last November, I was sad, because I didn't have a baby anymore. In the "baby" place was left an awesome kid who's personality has blossomed over the last few weeks. He talks so much more, has an amazing amount of goofiness, and has a style of his own. He is in a hat phase, and he pulls it off so well. I love it....and my big boy. Now if we can just get potty training down!
