It's known that every Friday we get donuts, but this particular Friday is National Donut Day! Unfortunately by schools end, they were all out of donuts. No worries for this "munchkin". We got a box of munchkins and free donut coupons for our troubles.

Memorial Day is a day of reflection, but it's also a day off from school, which means sprinkler fun!! 🇺🇸

I celebrated Earth Day today by going to the beach and collecting sand dollars and sea glass after my run. Sydney (or Princess Anna today) celebrated by just stopping and smelling the flowers.

This morning was our town's Easter egg hunt on the beach. Due to the incredibly high winds and Grayson's fear/clinging to me, I only got one picture of the actual hunt. The kids had fun, I promise!

I always think of April 1st as the unofficial start to spring. Unfortunately its still cold and windy though, so its hard to believe it. Sydney had her Easter egg hunt at Pre-K though, so despite the fact that I was shielding myself from frigid wind, I still kind of felt the spring season around me.

Easter is this Sunday, and I am trying to get Grayson into the spirit by wearing these cute bunny ears I found. He's not really thrilled.

Happy St Patrick's Day! I'm only Irish by marriage, but I love this holiday, because everything is my favorite color: green! It's this little green eyed leprechaun's too, so he was more than happy to wear his green Lolly Lu Designs bowtie to celebrate.

050 | 365 : Chinese New Year

Today is the Chinese New Year! This year its the year of the goat, but don't tell Grayson that. He's really into pandas right now (see day 46) and he thinks that its his panda's birthday instead. We are reading lots of panda stories to celebrate!

Happy Valentine's Day from one of my valentines to yours! Someone wasn't too happy about mommy's lipstick on him!

Sydney is in Pre-K, so she's never had the whole Valentines experience with classmates before. She was so full of excitement! This is her very first bag of love with her very first valentines in it. She says she even has a boyfriend!
