I now have an official 3rd grader and kindergartener. I can't believe it. Andrew had his first day of high school today, but I didn't take his picture so I didn't rock any boats.

I came home to a wonderful package from Skip Hop. This was sent after Grayson did their ad (remember?). I love this stuff!

Its that time of year: school shopping! I don't usually buy too much clothes wise since the weather hasn't changed, but I always get shoes. The girls picked their sneakers. If you couldn't tell the size difference, I bet you could tell whose are whose based on the colors.

Remember when Grayson modeled for Skip Hop back in the beginning of the year? The ads have come out! Its funny seeing Grayson in things like this. Thank you Skip Hop for the experience. I can't post the ad photos, so sorry for the quality of this one. Its hard to take a pic of the screen with an actual camera.

One of my very first props I bought was when Grayson was 18 months old from a company called Handcrafted Crowns for a project I entitled "The Little Prince". 2 years later I still love this crown and every photo I've ever taken with it so far.

The sass on my soon to be 5 year old is incredible. Here Sydney is, in the yard, dictating how her OLDER sister and younger brother should be acting. She had no idea I was taking this photo! Sidetone: she picked this dress out at H&M on her own, and I wish I had one in my size.

Sydney and I are both the same in that we try to randomly use different styles. I am trying something slightly different with editing for this one photo, she is trying a different headscarf or headband every few seconds. Neither of us are particularly thrilled with our choices right now, but thats how you discover new things, right?

136 | 365 : My Birthday

Today is my birthday, and I turned 32. I like to reflect a bit, and see what has happened over the last year. I've been through some very stressful this year, my running is so much a part of my life that I have gotten down to a little over and 8 min mile (go me!), became a sea glass addict, and have watched my children blossom.  I have seen my photography business grow, and have reconnected with one of my oldest and closest friend.s. All in all, even with setbacks and drama (who doesn't have that?) its been a pretty damn good year. Now lets eat cake!!

128 | 365 : Mothers Day Tea

Today at school was the "mothers day tea" for Sydney's class. I got a wonderful handmade card, ate some delicious tea and cupcakes to classical music, and got to dance with my little lady. Its hard to have individual time with any of the 4 kids, so I treasure these moments so much. They only stay little for so long.

I have to use a second photo of the day on Cassie's communion and my color challenge (3/5). I am just so in awe of how I feel like she was just baptized, and now she's a little lady.

122 | 365 : Communion

Duchess Kate isn't the only one who has a little princess today. Cassie had her communion, and I cried a little. I'm having flashes of her wedding! She isn't a girly girl, so getting her hair done is a treat (for me!). Tomorrow I'll post a full dress pic.

112 | 365 : Earth Day

I celebrated Earth Day today by going to the beach and collecting sand dollars and sea glass after my run. Sydney (or Princess Anna today) celebrated by just stopping and smelling the flowers.

102 | 365 : From Above

It was inevitable really: Sydney discovered those awful "surprise egg" videos on the kids YouTube. After watching multiple ones, she insisted I drag out some "magic clip" Disney princesses, thanks to an episode featuring them. Also thanks to them: she now knows the horror of having "duplicates". Why DO we have so many Annas?

100 | 365 : Imagination

I love Sydney's imagination. Every day she changes into a different costume or outfit multiple times. Today we started as Anna from Frozen, was Sophia until lunch, and just was Sully from Monsters University for most of the afternoon. I hear her getting changed into "fancy" pajamas now. I never want her imagination daydreams to end. Side note: I made it to day 100 for Project 365. Woo hoo!!!

083 | 365 : Bonnet

I found one of Grayson's old hand knit bonnets from when he was a baby and I made him wear it for a few seconds since it always looked huge. This is his amused face.

076 | 365 : Green

Happy St Patrick's Day! I'm only Irish by marriage, but I love this holiday, because everything is my favorite color: green! It's this little green eyed leprechaun's too, so he was more than happy to wear his green Lolly Lu Designs bowtie to celebrate.
