037 | 365 : Give Me Comfort

It was inevitable really. Today I am sidelined and can not get out of bed. I get sick a lot, due to Thalassemia, a blood disorder I have. Any normal sickness that goes through my house gets aggravated to the max in me. I get sad, because I can't care for the kids like I want to. I know that mommy guilt shouldn't kick up, but it does. I guess its a lot of antibiotic, soup, catalog shopping, and a super cuddly teddy bear from Next (given to Grayson from my very best British friend Laura) to make me feel better. Grayson likes to share his comforts with his mommy when she feels bad.

035 | 365 : Pink

Grayson's sickness lives on. Today is the first time he has smiled in about a week, so maybe this flu is almost gone! One thing that didn't change is how sweet and cuddly he is. In fact its more so now than ever! Look at how pink his cheeks are. There's a lot of Aquaphor going on right now.

019 | 365 : In My Cup

It looks like I am coming down with a touch of what my kids got these last few days. Instead of my normal coffee, I am drinking hot cocoa to make me feel better out of my favorite mug. She's starting to fade, which is sending me into a panic. Guess I'll have to buy more of her.

015 | 365 : Flu

We haven't had the flu in this household in awhile, but poor Cassie was diagnosed with it today. She doesn't get sick too often, but when she does, look out! Its a couple days on the couch, some good tv/movies, and some popsicles in her future.
