The last day was the hardest. I hate leaving my cousin (we are so close!), and my other cousin's sweet baby Ella. Now I wish the hurricane had happened so I would be there a few more days.

242 | 365 : Infinity

While waiting for dinner, Grayson got to play Disney Infinity. It looks like a birthday gift is made, or Santa may have to bring this for Christmas this year.

241 | 365 : Water Park

Hurricane Erika was a threat, but she ended up breaking up, so we got to go to the water park and enjoy the sun!

240 | 365 : Spoiled

Grayson was so spoiled by his godmother. This minion Bob was her gift to him, and he loves him. When Grayson was a baby and we visited I took a pic of him at this fountain, I had to do it again.

239 | 365 : Leaving

We left for Florida with no problems. It was a nice flight, and Grayson was a champ! I was so happy to see my cousin.

Tomorrow Grayson and I are leaving to visit my cousin in Florida (the girls are going to my in-laws boat for the weekend). It's hard to pack when someone uses it as a seat to play the Wii. Fingers crossed that Hurricane Erika won't make landfall while I am there!

Today was Sydney's kindergarten orientation. She couldn't contain the excitement from the moment she woke up this morning. Of course she had to wear her favorite dress.

It's the most wonderful time of the year for moms! The school supply lists came out, so off to Staples we went. This is just a tiny fraction of what all the kids need this year.

234 | 365 : Belmar Chase

Today was the day of the chase. I'm so proud of myself!! It was a short 5K race, so I was looking to make a personal best. And I have done it an official time of 25:39. I have races planned until November so I am hoping to break 25 min this racing season.

The kids race for the Belmar Chase was tonight. I am so proud of Grayson for wanting to follow in my footsteps and collect medals. He's getting pretty good at this running thing!

Toddler life is fleeting. Some days he won't let go of my hand, other days he's too independent for me.

I am a week away from Sydney's kindergarten orientation. My sweet little girl is growing up quickly. I can still see toddler like characteristics in her little features (and she's still the size of a toddler!) but I know that they are fleeting and will be gone soon.

228 | 365 : School Shopping

Its that time of year: school shopping! I don't usually buy too much clothes wise since the weather hasn't changed, but I always get shoes. The girls picked their sneakers. If you couldn't tell the size difference, I bet you could tell whose are whose based on the colors.

The last few days have been a doozy. Grayson has been the definition of what the Brits call "cheeky". He is all boy, thats for sure.

Remember when Grayson modeled for Skip Hop back in the beginning of the year? The ads have come out! Its funny seeing Grayson in things like this. Thank you Skip Hop for the experience. I can't post the ad photos, so sorry for the quality of this one. Its hard to take a pic of the screen with an actual camera.

Cassie has been taking art class at our local library every Thursday all summer. Every project is based on a book they read. This one was Aliens In Underpants. It was a hit!

224 | 365 : Red Robin

They've opened a Red Robin by me, and its delicious. I took the kids there today, where they asked me to take their picture by the burger chairs, which they got a kick out of. Its hard to get a decent pic of them, especially when Sydney insists on leaving an apple slice in her mouth as a joke. This is as close as it gets with these ragamuffins!

We have a small lemon tree in the yard that rarely gets lemons. Today I looked outside and there were these buds. Maybe some citrus is coming our way (we've got enough tomatoes and peppers for awhile).

I wasn't going to use another pic of Grayson on this day, but I was going through all my pictures I took and I couldn't help but notice how much bigger he is getting. He turns 4 around Thanksgiving, and I think I will absolutely lose it.

I have worked so hard for this. I finally got into the Jersey Shore Running Club. I am so proud of how far I've come, and how much farther I'll go.

Grayson has a bad milk allergy, so he can't eat ice cream like the rest of the kids. We've tried giving him soy ice cream, but he won't touch it because he's basically programmed to know what to stay away from. He had his first taste of italian ice, even though I had to convince him it was ok. He's not a fan of the coldness but he liked it!

I love bears. They are absolutely my most favorite gifts of all time. The kids were playing with them and left this one behind. The lighting made it very poetic.

My big brave boy, protecting me from the Koi fish. For some reason he kept saying they were "bad".

Beauty is everywhere, if you open your eyes long enough for it. This butterfly was just hanging out watching me do a session.

Grayson goes into beast mode when its taco night at out house. It's his favorite food, and he can put down at least 4 of them in one sitting. I'm happy he eats, but its seriously a messy ordeal.

When my friend Jennifer told me she was pregnant, I was ecstatic for her. Due at the end of October, she was destined to have a Halloween baby, and with us being Walking Dead fans, it was pretty cool. Last week, she went into labor at 25 weeks along. A little miracle named Charlotte was born at just over 1 lb. Today I got to visit her in the NICU, and she took my breath away. This gorgeous girl is such a fighter. Can't wait to visit you again, lil asskicker!

My cat Shadow is incredibly weird. She is stretched across the arms of an armchair and a couch here. It doesn't seem comfortable to have a giant space missing underneath you, but she does this all the time.
