Sydney and Grayson were picked awhile ago to rep a brand called Camplight Apparel, which pays it forward for every shirt that is bought. I tried to get a normal pic of them today but it seems like they would rather pose like it's an Abercrombie ad or something.

Today I got my personal training textbook in the mail. I am taking a leap on a new career path. My day job at a gym is helping me out immensely with this. I hope to turn it into a sports medicine degree one day.

210 | 365 : Minions

We went to another movie this summer. For us, its an expensive experience with all the kids, but they were begging to see the Minions movie. It was a cute one, but Grayson declared he liked Inside Out better. Secretly I did too.

209 | 365 : Can't Touch This

This was originally an "outtake" but I think its completely hilarious. I wanted to get just a simple picture of Cassie with one her cousins Colin because they looked so cute together. Right before I hit the shutter, Colin put a hand on Cassie's shoulder. Her reaction cracked me up, so of course this is the photo I ended up liking of the 2 of them. Don't worry she truly loves him.

This weekend my adorable nephews came to visit from Virginia. This is Rory, the youngest. I wish I could see him all the time, but hopefully I'll see him for the holidays!

One of my very first props I bought was when Grayson was 18 months old from a company called Handcrafted Crowns for a project I entitled "The Little Prince". 2 years later I still love this crown and every photo I've ever taken with it so far.

Its a heat wave around here, and I'm worried about this pretty flower. I think its the prettiest in the yard, and always look forward to seeing that pop of color every day. Hold on, little flower!

Supposedly today is the hottest day of the year thus far, and I think they are right. After my session i had this morning, I had planned on doing a ton with the kids, but even they don't want any part of it. Instead they are sitting in the air conditioning, and watching cold themed movies, like The Polar Express (Grayson's choice).

Even though these look like kids shoes, these are mine. I treated myself to new running sneakers since I already went through my last ones mileage-wise. The brighter they are, the more I love them. Let's see how long these bad boys last.

197 | 365 : Tiny Dancer

Every Tuesday and Thursday this will be a regular occurrence. Sydney will put on her ballet ensemble nice and early and ask "can we go yet?" over and over until it is officially time to go to ballet class. I was just like her when I was her age.

I'm having a hard time finding inspiration today. It was a thunderstorm packed day, and nothing caught my eye. I apologize for another beach picture, but hey, happens to the best of us right?

The face of summer reading. Cassie is halfway done, and usually likes to read, but this summer she has discovered Minecraft, and its become an obsession. Everything that gets in the way of that now is not cool in her eyes.

Brutally hot for a 5 mile race, but that didn't stop me. I clocked in at 44:21. I hope to be under 40 minutes. Maybe next year?

I'm an avid runner , and Grayson is taking it up too. This is his second ever kids race, and he did very well. This is his "tough and awesome" face. He loved getting another meal "like mommy". He looks more like a Nike ad, and looks very big here, even though at 3 years old some of his clothes are still a 2T!

We are definitely repeating last year. Girls are all about the water, Grayson is not having it. Even with my friends daughter there, this is the closest he'll go (so far)>

Cassie is so competitive, its crazy. I am kind of like that too (hello running!), so I really can't say anything. At least she's a good sport!

Hot and humid was the theme today (hence the hair for these 2!), but the weather looked ominous, so it kept us off the beach. We went out and about in general, but it was a lot of iPad play today. Don't judge me.

Today was an awesome day at the beach. The girls and his older brother ran right to the water, and I watched Grayson try to be brave and touch the water as well. Last year he did a little better. Maybe he just needs a few more times to remember.
