273 | 365 : First Project

Grayson brought home his very first project from school. I want to treasure this forever. His hands are still so tiny.

272 | 365 : Rub a Dub

Rub a dub dub, a little ducky, I mean boy, in the tub!

271 | 365 : Sentiment

Sometimes someone comes into your life at just the right moment. A time when you need someone the most, and does something amazing. Thank you Alexis. These flowers and the note may be a small gesture, but to me they are the world.

270 | 365 : Lazy

It's a cool, dreary, Sunday so that means its time for the usual: Mommy watches football and in between the kids play with Play Doh.

269 | 365 : Dino Day

Today was dinosaur day at the library. Grayson and the girls touched real fossils and had a sing along! I'm so glad our local library does things like this!

268 | 365 : Cider

Another sign of fall? Going to my favorite market and getting apple cider and cider donuts!

267 | 365 : Fall

If you are planting mums, you can officially say that fall is here!

266 | 365 : Tired Eyes

Grayson is always exhausted after I pick him up from preschool/day care. His eyes get super big like a cartoon! At least he is sleeping better at night now.

265 | 365 : Book Fair

Today was the book fair for the girls. Sydney found a story book that happened to have cut out tiaras and microphones. Perfect combo for a princess that wants to sing all day (all Sydney). And yes, her hair is always this messy after school.

264 | 365 : Homework

It is a struggle every day to get Cassie to do her homework. She will only read certain types of books. As an avid reader myself I have no idea where she came from!

263 | 365 : Fish Tail

I love that I have friends that can come over and fish tail Sydney's hair, since I have no clue how to and she is so girly!! Thanks Alexis.

262 | 365 : Saturday

Today was the annual San Gennaro festival on our main street. Cassie spent most of the time practicing for her upcoming basketball season.

261 | 365 : Masks

We received some create your own masks in the mail. Grayson likes to run around and roar like a monster, so this is right up his alley.

260 | 365 : Dress Up

Sydney is back to dressing up every day. Sully is a popular one this week.

259 | 365 : Hiding

I couldn't find my cat for awhile. She hides in the weirdest places, and I know she enjoys watching me search for her.

258 | 365 : 14

Andrew turned 14 years old today, so we went to his favorite hibachi spot for dinner. I blinked, and he went from 3 years old to 14. Happy birthday buddy.

257 | 365 : First Assignment

Sydney got her first homework assignment. She's started reading. I can't believe my kindergartner can read (a little anyway)!

256 | 365 : Chill

There's a chill in the air today for the first time in awhile. Fall is on the way, so break out the fall soaps!

255 | 365 : 10K

Another day, another race. This time it was a 10K. This one was a tough one filled with loads of large hills. It wasn't my best time at 54:47, but it was still an accomplishment.

254 | 365 : Never Forget

I cheated today. This photo was taken in 2013 when Grayson and I visited the 9/11 memorial with my cousin. I have an incredibly hard time with this day. I can remember every moment. I can smell it. I can still taste what it tasted like when the towers fell and the dust rolled onto our campus. I still have the newspapers. I can't pick up my camera on this day, but this photo can stand in its place. Its one of my favorites by far.

253 | 365 : Fall Dance

It was time for Sydney's first ballet class of the dance season! She loved it over the summer, and those few weeks of break were filled with questions of when she was going back. She was so happy to put her ballet shoes on and head to class.

252 | 365 : Apprehension

I got a promotion at work, which is awesome! The only caveat was that I now had to put Grayson in a half day preschool in the afternoon (he comes with me to work in the morning). Its better for him, so he can be prepared for full day preschool in town next year, but it still killed me to see my last little baby go off on his own. His face is full of apprehension, but he ended up loving it.

251 | 365 : First Day of School

I now have an official 3rd grader and kindergartener. I can't believe it. Andrew had his first day of high school today, but I didn't take his picture so I didn't rock any boats.

250 | 365 : Labor Day

For us, Labor Day is a day filled with realization, watching the tourists leave, and packing backpacks for the very first day of school tomorrow.

249 | 365 : Going the Distance

Its perfect running weather on the boardwalk these days. I did 10k no problem, and I just wouldn't stop. I can't wait for my next races coming up. And yes, those are new running shoes. I think these finally are a good fit for my mileage.

248 | 365 : College Football

It's officially college football season, and we are pumped in this house!!

247 | 365 : What I Am Reading

I was feeling a bit off, but my 2 favorite magazines came in the mail. Time to kick back and relax.

246 | 365 : Something I Want

Or more specifically, something HE wants. The library now has laptops for the kids to play some learning games, and Grayson is all about it.

245 | 365 : Summer Boredom

Summer is coming to a close. Most neighboring towns started school already, but we start Tuesday. Cassie is starting to feel the boredom. Only a few more days left, and its back to routine.

244 | 365 : Swag

I came home to a wonderful package from Skip Hop. This was sent after Grayson did their ad (remember?). I love this stuff!
